We use micro data which allows to match quanlitative and quantitative firm specific information for assessing existing quantification methods and developing suggesttions for improvement and alternatives. Among other things we arelooking at

• Rationality of survey responses
• An alternative to the standard Carlson-Parkin method
• The relationship between quantitative signal and qualitative response

The current activities in these fields are summarised in the follwong slides (survey produced for the kick-off meeting on July 29, 2008).
